Prof Stefanie Corradini, MD

Prof. Stefanie Corradini, MD, is a radiation oncologist and Professor of Radiation Oncology at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).

Since October 2025, she has served as Director and Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology.

Prof. Corradini is internationally recognized for her expertise in image-guided HDR brachytherapy, MR-guided radiotherapy, and high-precisionstereotactic radiotherapy with a particular clinical and scientific focus on liver tumors. Her research encompasses clinical radiation oncology, interstitial brachytherapy, MR-guided treatment strategies, and single-fraction SABR.

She has published extensively in leading international journals and contributed to major textbooks in the field. Recent work includes leading international guideline development for interstitial HDR brachytherapy of liver tumors.

Prof Frank-André Siebert

Dr. Frank-André Siebert is a medical physicist and Professor at the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel, Germany, with more than 30 years of experience in radiation oncology and a distinguished career in brachytherapy.

As long-standing member and leader within GEC-ESTRO since 2003, he has served as Chair of the BRAPHYQS Working Group, as member of the GEC-ESTRO Council and Committee, and as Chair of the GEC-ESTRO Committee from 2024–2026. He has played a key role in developing international recommendations and advancing

collaboration between GEC-ESTRO, AAPM and ABS.

As Head of Medical Physics at UKSH, Campus Kiel, he combines leadership with daily clinical practice in prostate, gynaecological and skin brachytherapy. His research interests span brachytherapy physics, quality assurance, treatment optimisation and patient outcomes, as well as EBRT, image fusion, total body irradiation, risk management and nuclear medicine.

Prof Peter Hoskin

Peter Hoskin trained in clinical oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital London and has been consultant in clinical oncology at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Northwood UK since 1992. He is Professor in Clinical Oncology in the University of Manchester, Honorary Professor in Clinical Oncology at University College London and honorary consultant in clinical oncology at the Christie Hospital, Manchester and University College Hospital, London. In Manchester he leads the Radiotherapy Related Research Group (RRR) and personal research interests focus on brachytherapy, radiosensitisation, biomarkers, radiotherapy quality assurance and palliative radiotherapy. He has published extensively and was Editor of Clinical Oncology for 15 years. He is now Editor in Chief of the Journal of Bone Oncology, Associate Editor for the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics and sits on several journal editorial boards including Brachytherapy and the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy.


Dr. Vuong

Dr. Vuong received her M.D and Internal medicine certification from the Université de Montréal and continued her postgraduate training in Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology at the Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto and the Institut Gustave Roussy & Institut Curie in Paris, Université de Paris, France.

She is currently a Professor (GFT-U) at McGill University, Department of Oncology and works at the Jewish General Hospital.

Dr. Vuong is internationally recognized, particularly for her expertise in the treatment and research of rectal cancer and is currently focusing on research for high dose

rate endorectal brachytherapy for patients with rectal cancer and Organ preservation treatment options.

Dr. Vuong conducts cutting-edge research in the area of colorectal cancer. She has participated as either the Principal Investigator or co-participant in numerous studies throughout her career. Her efforts have led to the development of new radiation technologies with the event of 3D simulation and modern radiation treatment technologies with multileaf collimators, IMRT, 3D image guided radiotherapy and brachytherapy and the development of clinical protocols for GI cancer. She is a

world leader in the development of HDRBT GI brachytherapy and has been co-chair five World conferences on organ preservation for patients with rectal cancer. Her strengths are in the integration of innovative technologies and a sound clinical experience and understanding of patient needs.
